The Vista Adult School- ROP offers classes on a trimester basis, with many new courses starting throughout the year. Certificated job training opportunities are offered through the Regional Occupational Program. Many classes are hands-on and interactive.   Classes Start September 8, 2009


 
Training in Health Careers
Whether you are looking for a new career or are already in the healthcare field and in need of skill enhancement, Vista Adult Education offers a variety of classes and certificate programs to meet your needs.

TO BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY OF THE VISTA ADULT SCHOOL MEDICAL PROGRAMS AND COURSES, YOU MUST ATTEND AN ORIENTATION!

Ready to start your new Medical Career? Get started by attending an orientation to get all the information you need on prerequisites, book cost and schedules.  It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3... Students need to register online for a ticket to a medical orientation!

Online orientation registration opens on:
Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 8:00 am

  • Your ticket is good only for the day and time that you register
  • Tickets are limited and provided on a first come, first served basis only
  • Tickets are non-transferrable - please bring ID
  • Return at the time you enrolled in for medical orientation - DO NOT arrive late!
  • Students arriving late will not be allowed into the orientation
  • Each orientation lasts approximately 2-3 hours and provides all the information
  • Be prepared to sign up for the classes at orientation and pay registration & class fees
  • Cash, Debit, VISA, MasterCard or Discover cards accepted for Registration and class fees  (no checks)

    Registration fee for each class enrolled in is $10.00

    Other Fees
    Pharmacy Technician class fee: $200.00  
    Phlebotomy Technician class fee: $200.00
    Medical Assisting class fee: $35.00

Career Tech Education
Vista Adult Education offers a variety of job training classes and certificate programs to assist individuals making a career change and/or seeking additional education in their present career. Our career technical education courses are offered in the field of automotive technology, apartment management, business, computers, digital media and entertainment, design, photography, bus driving, and many occupations in the health care industry.



Community Education and Enrichment Classes
The Vista Adult School provides opportunities for lifelong learning and personal enrichment to students and adults through our community education classes.
